FacetWin Security Pack Terminal Emulator

For a very secure connection across the internet, we recommend the FacetWin Security Pack terminal emulator. This is an optional add-on to FacetWin. The Security Pack replaces the standard FacetWin terminal emulator.

The FacetWin Security Pack includes:
Full 56-bit DES (Data Encryption Standard) encryption for:

• login and passwords
• all of the data sent to the screen

Standard FacetWin client/server implementation employs the highly secure manual key exchange. This optional FacetWin add-on may be ordered as follows:

• New FacetWin Customers: Just contact FacetCorp Sales to purchase a normal FacetWin license PLUS FacetWin maintenance (15% of the license price).
• Existing FacetWin Customers Under Maintenance: Free of charge.

FacetWin (DT) Dial-up Terminal Emulator

For a serial-connection-only terminal emulator for use with a modem, check out FacetWin DT (Dial-up Terminal). FacetWin DT provides the same exact terminal emulation capabilities of the FacetWin terminal emulator in a low-cost serial only version. Note that the full FacetWin product is needed for network connectivity.

FacetWin File and Print Services

FacetWin Version 4 is compatible with Microsoft 7 and Vista operating systems. Version 4 is required for FacetWin file and printing services. V4 is not required for terminal emulation. Check out FacetWin Version 4 Information.

FacetWin PC Backup/Restore Services

FacetWin Version 4 allows the system administrator or individual PC users to backup PC files that are larger than 2GB to a supported Linux/UNIX platform on the network.

FacetWin PC Backup/Restore Services uses Explorer-type PC interface for easy file selection for backup or restore. It includes enterprise class features such as full or incremental backup, backup multiple PCs in single operation, data compression, verification, etc.
